Yeah, that's kind of what will have to happen, if they can't be talked off the roof within a reasonable amount of time.  They should handle it in the courts.  What they are pissed about is "out there" now, let the lawyers hash it out.  Trying to fight the Feds with violence is only going to end one way for those doing the fighting.  Yeah, maybe history will look good upon you, but you'll still be funking dead.

Are they, in their occupation, refusing to allow admission to federal employees who have the building as their workplace? What does the occupation of this building mean? If they're just sitting around there but letting people go about their business, that's one thing. But if they're refusing entry to a federal building to the federal workers who work there, that's entirely another thing, and not just a peaceful protest, whether or not violence has been used.

Pretty much. At this point, this remains a trespassing situation. I suspect they're mainly talkers, and are more than likely to back down with a show of force. The people cheerleading for blood are sick, and many of them likely don't care that they're endangering federal agents in the process.

Who's going to just walk into a potentially highly deadly situation, especially since they'd have to do so unarmed to "prove" your point? Why not just surround the place, cut the power/water, and wait for them to go hungry and come out?

They're simply pointing out that the rather silly actions of these people hardly constitute terrorism, due to the fact that certain posters have taken it upon themselves to label them as such in order to further their rather tiresome parodying of the immoderate reactions of certain people on the American right to black protestors and Muslims.

Or that cop in SC who shot the man who was behind on his child support payments in the back because he ran. We have a bill of rights that forbids punishment without trial. Burning citizens alive when there is no imminent threat to the peace is monstrous, immoral, and tyrannical. If you were a governor and carried out such a summary execution, you would be lucky if the only thing you faced was impeachment.

On a lesser note, since the only crime here is that these people are illegally trespassing in a federal building, burning down said federal building seems like a stupid way to end the crime.

(Regarding the previous post) And I seem to recall protesting liberals saying trespassing (in parks after hours) was not a crime because people have a right to exist and the government can't dictate where they are (and the sane ones at least limited that to non-private places) - any abridgment of the right to exist was a violation of human rights even for the reason of safety after hours during toxic situations in residential areas.
