We had this test up before, a year ago or so, but I wanted to draw attention to it again.

Take it.

It's a three-dimensional test. That is, it has three axes where the Political Compass has two.
Unfortunately, it doesn't provide a fancy graphic or your exact value for the three dimensions, but you can actually tell quite a bit from your result.
For example, take my result:
Liberal 100
Anarcho-Syndicalist 74
New Labour 70
Totalitarian 57
Libertarian 47
Traditional Societies 37
Authoritarian 30
Conservative 4
Any result with Liberal 1st should have Conservative 8th - they're on opposing sides of 0 on all three axes.
Same thing with Anarcho-Syndicalist and Authoritarian, New Labour and Traditional Societies, and Totalitarian and Libertarian.
The results at 2, 3, and 4 should be on the same side of 0 as your no.1 result on two of the three axes each - making it possible to tell on which of the three axes you're closest to 0, on which furthest removed.
The percentages are not all that informative since their recalculated to 100% for the top result, but everyone's first, second and third places should be highly informative.

Hm. Seems like it doesn't always work the way it's supposed to do.
Otherwise Bono's four and five would have to be the other way round.

Not really.
I loath lew labour, and am farly traditionalist personally.
(NOTE: I voted for the "states rights" option where it was availeble).

Yes...I have no problem with your results as your results, they fit you well...but they're not logical according to the axes model described in the preface to the test. Fourth place (and everything after) should be predictable from first to third places.

I took the test, and like Soulty got a cluster of results near 100%. I would guess that the method used to normalize the first choice to 100% skews the view of the results. More likely, Soulty and I both ended up with answers that put us near the triple zero of the chart. Thus all 8 results would be relatively close. Since the results finder tries to convert something to 100% all results get pulled up with it.

This is why the chart method of the PC is a better visulaization tool.

The questions are even more loaded than the ones from Political Compass--I'm surprised none of the questions began, "Only a religious would..."

1: Conservative  (100%)
2: Authoritarian  (66%)
3: Traditional Societies  (64%)
4: Libertarian  (58%)
5: Totalitarian  (40%)
6: Anarcho-syndicalist  (38%)
7: New Labour  (24%)
8: Liberal  (5%)

A more realistic test would say I'm 65-75% conservative and 10% authoritarian (only because I detest marijuana and support the drug war). The rest of the catagories will fill the remaining percentages

All raw scores were fairly moderate, as shown in the lowest score of 45%.  Some questions were fairly biased.
