I think he gets second or third, voted third.

Cruz will most likely win Iowa. Carson, Huckabee, and Santorum may drop out after. Cruz will consolidate NH conservative support. Cruz will either finish second or third. No better, no worse.

He'll most certainly be behind Trump, but also more likely than not Christie and Rubio as well, so probably 4th or 5th.

He will be a surprise 2nd place, and he will get votes that ordinarily would have gone to "Establishment" candidates.

I think Cruz gets 4th place. Trump wins, followed by Rubio, Christie, then Cruz.

Right now RCP in New Hampshire is:

Trump: 26.3
Rubio: 13.3
Cruz: 12.0
Christie: 11.3
Kasich: 9.7
Bush: 7.7
Carson: 5.3
Fiorina: 5.0
Paul: 4.0

If Cruz wins Iowa, its likely that he'll get some sort of boost in New Hampshire.  At the very least, potential dropouts by Carson and Paul may help him.

The other big factor in where Cruz ends up is how Rubio/Christie/Kasich/Bush split the vote.  All of these candidates are going all in on NH (except Rubio, I think he's banking on Nevada).

I expect that he'll edge out Rubio for third.

Second or third, voted second given that the establishment is still split.

Third or second, though a super divided field, momentum from Iowa, and a collapsing TRUMP could potentially mean an upset 1st.

Third place. Cruz has a libertarian streak about him. New Hampshire is between Bush, Christie, Rubio, Kasich, Cruz, Trump, Paul.
