I'm sorry, but "strict constructionist" is a logical fallacy. Basically it boils down to one of two things: the Tenth Amendment invalidates the entire constitution and there is no government at all, or it means that the constitution is no longer in force and our government is based on the Republican Party platform.

What I meant is the guy is basically a religious despot.

That was directed at JCL, the one who thinks that Article 1 section 8 overrules the 14th Amendment.

You can find lots of decisions where both Justices go against the other conservatives because of how they interpret the Constitution; I bet you'd be hard pressed to find one unconservative ruling by Moore. Don't lump them in with this rogue.

More like the 10th Amendment invalidates the entire federal law.  But otherwise, completely right.
