I have moved Kingpoleon to the Northeast, as per a 'free move' clause - which was referred to me by another Northeastern citizen. Additionally, I have removed the move dates for moving for all new registrations since I've become Registrar General. This 'free move' clause doesn't appear to be noted within the constitution, but there seems to be precedent for it. If someone is able to provide me with the correct legislation this would be useful in future.

I'll be updating the Census following the confirmation of results from the recent elections.

Hopefully I've managed to get everything correct. I've counted the people who voted after the closing of the voting booth as not voting, although this may be wrong. Feel free to point out anything that's incorrect with this update. Smiley

Counting people who voted before or after the correct hours for polling as having not voted is correct, yeah.

I notice two errors in the South--Peebs is a Laborite, not a Federalist, and Jbrase recently re-registered as a D-R.

Outside of that, keep up the good work! Smiley

Statement from the Registrar General
As many of you may have noticed, I've not had much activity in the game for a couple of months, or so, and I haven't made as many updates to the Census list as I, and probably others, would've hoped.

I've entered a period where I have a number of exams, as well as being distracted by other issues and, therefore, I haven't had much time to give much attention to the game.

I contacted the President about a month ago to say that I would resign from my role as Registrar General, and take a break from the game. In this month, as far as I'm aware, the President hasn't found anyone to replace me - so I've gone public in an attempt to help move this process along.

I will make my final update to the Census tomorrow and I will officially resign as Registrar General on Saturday night to give some more time for the President to find someone to fill the role. I'll be around the site, when I have time, in the next couple of weeks - as we have various elections in the UK coming up - and I can be contacted via the PM system. I'll be more than willing to allow the future Registrar General access to my Census list whenever they are appointed.

-- Clyde.

EDIT: If you are interested in becoming the Registrar General, please contact myself or the President - as this would help speed up the process in replacing me.

Well, personal life is always the more important issue (and taking breaks from the game is also a good idea when one has too much to do), but I do hope you'll be back. I'd like to think I speak by many when I say, thanks for your service as RG, Clyde!

Yeah, I agree with the others. You've done well as RG, and were also the only one to get the Labor Primary race correct as a pollster (another great service you brought to Atlasia).

You've done a fantastic job (especially, as Leinad mentioned, with polling) and you will be missed.

First Pikachu, and now this... the Northeastern Laborites are dropping like flies! Coincidence? I think not!

Seriously, though, you've been a great RG and I hope you'll be back in the future, once your real life issues are dealt with. Congratulations on a job well done!

One final update from me...
Atlasia Census

South6110200423

Midwest741113118
Total4237743919121

Thank you everyone for their kind words. Smiley I hope to be back in the game when my exams are over - so I may be back by the start of next month at the earliest - and I'll almost certainly return by mid-July. As a result, I won't de-reg from the game at the moment.

I've been contacted by a couple of people about taking over from me; I'll speak to them about what they'd need to do and hopefully this will mean that Griffin will be able to appoint someone within the next week.

Yeah, I agree with the others. You've done well as RG, and were also the only one to get the Labor Primary race correct as a pollster (another great service you brought to Atlasia).
Thanks. When I come back, I'm definitely going to re-start my polling - and hopefully getting the next Presidential poll that I do correct, unlike last time. Tongue Wink

it's fascinating how close we've moved to a two-party system.

speak for yourself.  I'm still with the PLP (although I suspect that I might be the only one left.)

On that note, Smoltchanov is the last remaining Liberal Party member if I am not mistaken.

This is nothing new, though.

In mid 2014 it was 50 Fed and 48 Laborites.
