In my alternate America, there is no Republican or Democratic parties. Instead, the parties are more structured to Canadian or UK political parties. Progressive Party- On the traditional left/center/right scale, this party is center-left to left. Their real world counterpart could be the Green Party and/or the Democratic party Liberty Party- This party is officially described as a centrist party, but their views often times bleed a little bit into more conservative values. The real world parallel is the Libertarian Party, and the more "swingy" voters. Given the party's broad range, the party is the most successful, and most often times wins a majority of states Christian Democrat Party- This party is both socially and fiscally conservative. Takes the leftover Right voters that wouldn't taken up by the Liberty Party or the lesser parties. Most successful in the Bible Belt (go figure). Farm and Labor Party- This party would be seen as the most liberal party, and holds primarily Socialist views. Given the fact that this party holds views that are so leftist, many states rarely vote for the party. The most "successful" regions for this party are Rust Belt states and Minnesota
I will be creating a map for this as well ( I need to find a way to create a map that has other colors than Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow for the minor parties) Speaking of which, I will be doing write-ups on the minor parties if you guys want
