Another comfortable win for TRUMP, whose beautiful and moving 9/11 answer decisively drove Cruz into the ground after his shameful attacks on the hero cops and firefighters who gave up their lives.

As usual, Hillary Clinton. Not by quite as much as previous debates though.

Trump, Christie and Cruz solidified their places as the final three IMO.

TRUMP, of course.

Cruz did pretty well though, until he got MURDERED by Rubio.

Christie also did pretty well imo.

Overall, the best debate since the first CNN one, and the only one I've actually been able to sit through since then lol

TRUMP in a landslide. The 9/11 response was the best single moment from any politician this entire campaign. Beautiful, powerful, inspirational moment.

The best moments were their back and forths.  TRUMP and Cruz are really on another level from the rest of the candidates.

Trump and Cruz. Anyone that thinks Rubio won clearly wasn't watching the debate.

I have, over the last 15 years, seen exactly one (1) use of 9/11 in a political context that wasn't tacky or abusing the memory of the dead for crass political purposes.

That one use was tonight. Trump was 100% right to bring up 9/11.

I do think Trump won on NY and Cruz won on eligibility, but of course the posters here skew heavily urban and toward the Northeast.  In a non-Texas exurb, the winners could easily be flipped.

Cruz does not win any discussion of his eligibility that lasts for ten minutes and only muddies the waters further. To win the issue he should have given a quick, concise response and tried to move on. Doesn't matter that he may won the room; what's important is the seed is planted in voters' heads, and every minute spent discussing it is more time from that seed to sprout and grow.

File TRUMP's New York moment alongside "You're no Jack Kennedy!", "Where's the beef?", "Would you repeat that, Candy?" and "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?".

I am not urban or Northeastern but I think it's goddamn ridiculous for a POTUS candidate to pander to petty regionalism.  Could you imagine if a Democrat attacked an opponent for having "Southern values"?   I know I'd be pissed off if some asshole like Cruz attacked my state.  Trump was 100% in the right for hitting back at that slimeball for his insulting comment.

It also skews heavily low energy and yet TRUMP has a big lead in this poll.

YOu guys watching CNN right now? Fox? Even the media is heeling now. They are recognizing TRUMP is winning the argument right now. They are recognizing that he is dominating the conversation. They are recognizing that he will win the nomination.

Trump won with his response on New York. He slammednit out of the park and made Cruz look pretty terrible.

I voted Cruz since I like him and tonight's debate solidified my support for him. But Trump did very well too, and had some good exchanges with Cruz. I also though Christie did very well. Rubio did decent but I haven't really been impressed with his debate performances or him as a candidate to be honest. The other three guys LOST!
