Well, general election polls are meaningless garbage before the convention, so I don't feel the need to have an opinion.

But, my dear friends who are Hillary fanatics, who say Hillary is inevitable, what oh what is happening in this nation?

Are the wheels coming off the Hillarymobile?

Have all the lies and corruption of the Clinton dynasty finally come home to roost?

As the election draws near, and Trump is by himself, away from other contenders critiquing Clinton, focus will be back on him, and she will be gradualling pulling away from him and ultimately winning in a convincing fashion.

Understandable. It's time to accept that this man is our next President.

Neither the Clinton dynasty or Trump will win their nominations. Why should we care?

I only see Trump winning if something major happens (economic crash or major terrorist attack). I think a ton of independents, and many mainstream Republicans, will cross the aisle for Clinton.

It seems like he has a huge amount of support but honestly most Americans aren't paying attention yet. After the conventions, we'll get a better picture.

While I agree with your point about Americans not yet paying attention, I disagree with your first comment: I'm an independent who doesn't trust Clinton in the least, and I don't think I'm alone in that feeling. Whatever else you might think of Trump, he's not pandering to gain votes, and he's not beholden to big money donors like Clinton is. I don't see a whole lot of people voting for Clinton as an anti-Trump vote -- I may choose not to vote for Trump, but I'll vote 3rd party before I vote Clinton.

I'm still unclear on why a terrorist attack would help Trump.

I love the utter polarisation on this poll.
