I was at a Chinese restaurant last night, and I was sitting near an old couple. The man was wearing an American flag t-shirt if that means anything. I was eavesdropping on their conversation, and the old man said "I'm undecided between Trump, Carson, and Sanders." I kid you not.

One of those intensely anti-establishment "TEH GUMMINT IS IN ALLIANCE WITH TEH ILLUMINARTY" morons.

My NRA loving, anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, son of the former chairman of the CPUSA 80 year old great uncle.

A hipster who is, in reality, very liberal, but who feels the need to support Trump due to his more ironic tendencies.

Only idiots are undecided due to the strong difference between the parties these days.  You would have to go out of your way not to know where the parties or candidates stand on anything in order to not know.  Not only this, but how does someone so clueless even know how our system works or when to vote?

Really angry at 'DC bureaucrats' and lobbyists. Sick of politics as usual and just apt to support somebody he feels speaks to him. Probably lives in a Rust Belt city in Pennsylvania or Ohio, was recently laid off from his factory job, belonged to a union, just went through a divorce, etc

old working class Jewish guy from Brooklyn who is a lifelong Democrat with possibly a radical past of involvement in the new left. In his old age he's grown increasingly hawkish on foreign policy and developed almost paranoid anti-Islamic JDL type beliefs. Still liberal on everything else though and likes that Sanders is from the same neighborhood as him.

Well yeah though occum's razor look at Trump's appeal. Though I suppose he could have some black supporters who are just really anti-immigrant.

I know many blacks who are angry about the government.  Some want their reparations.  Others bring up the conspiracy about the white man getting them addicted to drugs. During Vietnam they were angry about sending their people to war for a country that hates them.  Many seemed angry about Treyvon Martin.  Currently, we have an angry president who criticizes the founding fathers for setting up a government that prevents him from getting his way.  He even said in 2008 that "we need a civilian army better equipped and funded than our armed forces."  This took effect in the form of Occupy Wall Street when he said "this is part of why I ran for office."  Jesse Jackson is an angry black man too.  I see much anger in them.  Your number is incorrect.

Yes, but I doubt any of these "angry black men" would support Trump.

1. Person who really really dislikes Hillary(70%)

2. Protest vote(20%)

3. Left-winger who likes Trumps anti-free trade platform but doesn't really have an opinion on Hillary(10%)

And of those i'd break it down into.

70% Strong Sanders supporters/Love Sanders

10% Lean Sanders

5% Lean Trump

15% Strong Trump supporters/Love Trump

I happen to know one, but I think he's confused. He shares a lot of posts from the BNP, the EDL, and a bunch of pro-Trump sources. Most of it is harshly anti-Muslim. However, the next second, he's sharing posts from Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. Confusing much?

So blacks who don't vote Democrat are confused? That's very racist. So much for my party being racist.

Describe someone who is genuinely undecided between Trump and Sanders.

It's someone who isn't partisan and, when considering the primaries, wants both parties to refrain from nominating establishment-preferred candidates.

When you look at the primaries polls, part of what they're indicating is that people are sickened by the Washington, D.C. establishment and know they don't give a damn about everyone outside their inner circle.

This is not difficult to understand.

My friend claims this. He'll probably vote for Sanders because he's pretty far left-wing, but he likes the fact that Trump is humiliating mainstream Republicans whom he generally finds the most detestable group in the US. Plus, he revels in chaos and says that he figures no important legislation will be passed under the next president either way, so we might as well just elect someone who is the most entertaining.
