Wow, he's really come a long way from when he was patting Ted Cruz on the back at the December debate.

Yeah, he's crossed a huge line. There is going to be serious blowback for this, and it will not be pretty.

Why? Cruz is certainly worse than Hillary.

I agree.  If I were Cruz I would take huge issue with this.

It is undeniable that the smarmy Canadian televangelist wannabe is worse than Hillary. Does anyone even like Cruz?!

Couldn't Cruz try to get him kicked off the primary ballot in some states? This seems like a violation of The Pledge.

If Cruz exploits this at the next debate before IA, game over.

That'd backfire even worse than "New York values" if Cruz attempted that.

Atlas still doesn't get it. This attack will work. Cruz is finished.

At least in a Hillary vs. Trump race, we will have two very intelligent, capable, likable, and constitutionally eligible candidates to choose from.

Looking forward to the fall, once this silly primary nonsense is over!

Remember when Trump told Cruz "you better not attack me" during the Dec. debate. Should have listened.

Cruz would be much better than Hillary, yet this kind of attack will do nothing to slow down the Trump Train.

I agree with Trump on policy in many situations. He was my unenthusiastically favorite choice for awhile. Many of the things he has said over the last few weeks, though, have caused me to lose some respect for him and trust him less.

I was one of the few people who had a gut feeling that Trump wasn't a flavor of the month and that he was going to last a long time. If my gut feeling is correct again, this race just became close again.

So, did anyone read what Trump said? He basically said Cruz's lying and hiding his loan from Goldman Sachs is worse than Hillary because at least Hillary is transparent about being owned by Wall Street.

We heard Cruz's counterargument in the debate. He already disclosed the loan on a separate public document, so there's no reason why he would have motivation to exclude it on the other one. Seems like a fair excuse to me.

That counter-argument is too complicated to understand.

Your man Cruz is going down. Deal with it!
