I mean now that dudeabides is gone does anyone dispute that it's accurate? I don't see why people throw a fit about an accurate description of a candidate who has ran an utterly pathetic campaign.

I imagine other low energy people would object to it.

If by "low energy" you mean calm, rational and interesting in discussing issues as opposed to being an aggressive bully, then "low energy" is good except for the fact that in this election being angry may get you votes.

On the other hand Bush's remark that "you can't insult your way to the presidency" is a little problematic. Remember how vicious his brother was toward McCain? Is he willing to apologize for that?

Other than those who simply support Jeb Bush and other completely insane people, I'd imagine that there would be some who simply object to the idea that a candidate can be "high energy" or "low energy".

It's obviously hilariously accurate, but I for one feel incredibly bad for (the politically inept) Jeb Bush and try not to make fun of him too much.

they are foolish people, then. The "high/low-energy" descriptions are one of the best ways one can contrast politicians with (better than Political Compass scores or nonsene like "Fiskool kuncervativ Smiley " anyway).

People see what they want to see. So, Bush supporters won't see him as low-energy.

Bush is not interested in discussing issues. He's interested in discussing vague talking points about bad policy.

I think the "low energy" stuff is silly.  But I did like what Will Farrell, imitating Bush 43, said about his "brother's" campaign on SNL.  "I wish he would have asked me about the '!' at the end of his name.  Look, I don't like the taste of broccoli.  But it doesn't get any tastier if you call it 'broccoli!'"

Because everything that comes from Donald Trump is irredeemably evil and needs to be wiped off the surface of the Earth.

I once heard a story about how excessive hyperbole is in violation of our Terms of Service. Watch yourself, Mr. V.

Maybe they think it's a silly playground taunt that got old for adults after the first one million hilarious repetitions of it.

But I'm just guessing.
