When he came on I would flip the channel if I was sitting there. If I wasn't and I was out in the kitchen doing something, I would go in, get the remote, and flip it. That said, I really don't know. The commercials were H, though.

Back in the late '80s there were a lot of commercials that would come on where you call a number and get some product, but it wouldn't be a guy yelling at you. Of course all those fraud TV preachers were on then too wanting money, so eh. They were the pits.
