At an age of 57 having lived in at least 16 locations, the list would be boringly long. It is interesting to note that at two of those locations in different states I lived in the district of the Speaker of the House.

Mine would be even longer, and no doubt I would miss many. When I say this, I said, well, given how much in arrears I am, on so much, forget it! Life really begins at 65 I keep telling myself. Gosh I have so much to do before I sleep. My quest is just beginning.

Man, and I thought I felt old around here.  Tongue  I don't blame you guys for not posting, it took me long enough just to sort mine out.

Also, for non-Americans, feel free to post whatever is most equivalent in your country's political system.

A closeted Spanish Tory, a Blair clone and then a religious nutcase. Then I moved and was represnted by the Deputy Prime Minister up until May, when he ceased to be Deputy Prime Minister and just became "a guy who goes to Ibeza". I'm moving when my lease is up to the seat to the east. The MP there is a cool guy.

SENATORS
Paul Simon (D-IL), 1991-1997
Alan J. Dixon (D-IL), 1991-1993
Carol Moseley Braun (D-IL), 1993-1997
--- MOVED ---
Chuck Grassley (R-IA), 1997-Present
Tom Harkin (D-IA), 1997-2015
Joni Ernst (R-IA), 2015-Present

REPRESENTATIVES
Robert Michel (R-IL), 1991-1995
Ray LaHood (R-IL), 1995-1997
--- MOVED ---
Jim Leach (R-IA), 1997-2007
Dave Loebsack (D-IA), 2007-Present (Or as my Corporate Finance professor so elegantly called him, Dave "Lobe-Sack-of-Sh^t")

Interesting notes:
- Dave Loebsack (D) BARELY defeated Jim Leach (moderate Republican who opposed the Iraq War) in the 2006 elections, partially because his district got Cedar Rapids (and its suburbs) taken out of it and replaced with the relatively poor, industrial town of Muscatine ... he hung on in 2004, but 2006 sunk him 51%-49% ... my district voted 56%-43% for Obama in 2012.
- My old district in Illinois (Peoria) hasn't elected a Democrat since the 1932 elections ... it voted 61%-37% for Romney in 2012.
