She should pick neither.

Both are total lightweights, terrible speakers, and can't speak Spanish (although I think one of them took some "lessons" a few years ago).

If she picks either one, she deserves to lose because either would represent pure tokenism. They'd bomb hard.

I think Tom Perez (Secretary of Labor) or Tim Kaine would be better. Both speak Spanish, and with less polarizing names, as well as the fact that they aren't picked like they were chosen for their names.

I'd go with Joaquin. Four years in Congress and ten years in the state legislature trumps two years as HUD Secretary and five years as mayor in a city with a weak mayor system.
