It would be pretty surprising if they endorsed Sanders after having endorsed Clinton over Obama in 2008. It probably won't be a big deal if they endorse Clinton, but will definitely be talked about a lot as a major Clinton snub if they endorse Sanders.

O'Malley would be the only reasonable endorsement. That said, I have no idea who they'll go with.

I expect for them to endorse Clinton, and then Sanders to step in it by railing against the establishment DMR, offending many Iowans.

Is there any possibility they will endorse neither?  Bernie is a johnny one note fixated on banks and Wall Street, and his ideas are unrealistic, and Hillary might be indicted, so we suggest folks that you just throw a dart at it all. Ideally the primary would be put off until we know more. Better yet, go to the Pub caucus and switch parties to Pub (which is legal), and vote for Kasich. Too bad I don't own the Des Moines Register.
