Using the albums as per Wikipedia, plus the two Tin Machine albums:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Bowie#Discography

You can pick up to five albums (it's hard enough picking one for me, I have all of his 1967-80 work, plus his final two albums).

Me:

1. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
2. Station to Station
3. Diamond Dogs
4. David Bowie/Man of Words, Man of Music/Space Oddity
5. Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)

I just adore Hunky Dory. Love every track. (Though Song for Bob Dylan kinda annoys me, even though I love Dylan...) Ziggy Stardust is simply brilliant as well.

Outside.  Very strange cyberpunk feel to it.

"Thru These Architect's Eyes" is my favorite Bowie song.

The only thing I'd say is that I have very strange feeling regarding the last one, and especially the most aired song, of which, 1st I can't stand the clip, and overall, it's like a beautiful but very unpleasant feeling of something which slowly but inexorably falls.

I find it quite fitting to this epoch...
