Just want to see if anyone is actually deluded enough to believe that Sanders could beat Trump in places like PA & OH.

Sanders would do horribly in the Philly suburbs and lose the state. Lower than average turnout in Philadelphia proper would also hurt him a lot.

PA is one of those secret states that Trump can win if he gets the nod. I put PA in the same list with WI and MI. Smiley

ITT: Clinton hacks suggesting that PA (which they insist is always unwinnable for any Republican because inelasticity!) would suddenly somehow vote for Trump/Palin over a Democrat who is polling as well as or better than Hillary in most polls.

I assume you also view the polls  from a few months back showing Ben Carson crushing Hillary as realistic? Because Sanders has received the same amount of scrutiny that Carson had at that time.

That's false. Anybody who's paid a shred of attention to this election cycle knows who Sanders is.

Sanders would be a terrible candidate in the general. Sure, the early numbers look really good for Sanders, but there is a lot of opposition research that Trump could destroy him with. Plus, I'm not confident that a frail old man who allows a microphone to be snatched from his hands is at all up to the task of winning. Turnout would be low with such an unappealing match up and low turnout benefits Republicans.

Trump would win by 5 points. He would dominate the Johnstown blue collar area.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe he allowed BLM to take the microphone because he can tolerate opposing viewpoints, unlike you Shillary hacks?

They were saying the same thing about the Republican primaries.

Tolerating opposing points of view doesn't mean you allow people to snatch the microphone from you. Only uncivilized people jump on the stage and snatch microphones. No candidate should condone that sort of behavior.

They know who he is in the same sense they knew who Ben Carson was. He has not received real scrutiny or been subjected to real attacks yet.

The primaries and the general are two completely different elections. Trump still has horrible favorables among all americans.

You do realize that nobody outside of the TRUMP echo chamber takes him seriously?

The microphone was not 'snatched' from Sanders. Security could have easily removed the protesters from the event if they wanted to.

I don't get how you can think that the fact that he appeals to a little over a third of GOP primary voters means he'd be acceptable overall.

Trump is far less of an ideological extremist than Sanders. Anyone who seriously believes Sanders has more appeal to swing voters than Trump is delusional.
