I find it Deeply Disturbing that long-standing precedent has been reversed, and that reverse alphabetical ordering was used for my contest. I'm never on bottom on ballots!

Furthermore, I must express outrage at the fact that the Labor candidate is at the bottom in every contested contest. For instance, the Southern Senate race is in alphabetical order, putting Steelers on bottom, while the Presidential and Pacific Senate races are in reverse alphabetical order (also putting 1184AZ and I on bottom).

If I lose, then I will certainly blame it on this chicanery!

It's not simply a matter of wanting to see the results: the new president and Senate are due to begin their terms a week from today; if the election results are not certified before then, it could cause all kinds of problems I don't even want to think about.

The first quote above is a reference to a bill that has not passed the Senate, so I doubt that is the reason for the delay. Whether the law mandates it or no, per tradition the certified returns are released the Monday after the election.
