If there's one thing Trump brings to the table that absolutely nobody brings, it's his ability to wreck his primary opponents.  Rubio and Cruz, Christie and Rubio, Kasich and Bush, these little spats are nothing compared to the total, scorched earth domination Trump inflicts.  Which of these has been most impressive?

Edit:  Forgot Carly, Trump thrashed her by having a bunch of economists and business writers go in the media and say she was one of the world's worst CEOs.

Okay, this is a tough one.  Probably Carson with the "Belt of Gold" speech or Cruz with the 9/11 thing.  Both of those were epic.

Bush. He used to be the frontrunner for the nomination. It was his last real shot at remaining relevant in politics, and Trump utterly ended his political career. Now, I'd be surprised if he got a job better than "political analyst" on FOX. All of them are pretty impressive, though.

I think the swiftboating of Cruz's eligibility to be president has to be the most brilliant.  He didn't have any help and absolutely nobody saw it coming.  Even when it happened people thought he was nuts.  But it's worked like a charm.

Yeah. It's really astonishing how rapidly Cruz imploded: literally overnight he went from leading in Iowa to being behind by double digits.

Carson, but only because it's too early to tell if Cruz will truly fall.

Cruz by far.

With his bonafide conservative credentials I thought he'd be impervious to any attack from Trump. I was wrong.

Bush. Carson's wasn't particularly impressive because at no point did Carson fight back. It's too early to pass judgment on whether Trump has successfully beaten back Cruz, who is still in a decently strong second place in IA and, while not close to Trump, does lead the rest of the field in NH and nationally. Cruz is a much more skilled politician than Bush or Carson, so we'll see whether he can emerge from a tussle with Trump. But I think Bush is almost the objectively correct answer here.

Cruz. The others were easy targets.

Jeb, although Trump isnt a true conservative, he's taken the frontrunner status away from Jeb, and will be nominee
