You have to figure if TRUMP wins Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina politicians will feel like they have to start endorsing him. So who's it gonna be?

I was about to say Steve Stockman, but I just remembered he's no longer in Congress.

If (when?) Sessions endorses Trump, it's game over for Cruz. Sessions is his go-to guy when he talks about conservative immigration policy.

Among governors, I could see LePage endorsing Trump after Christie drops out of the race.

Although that's because MA's only sitting Republican is Charlie Baker, who would never endorse Trump unless he wins the nomination.

Essentially the same here. We have some Republican Congressman, but none of them are really the Trump type.

I'm not even sure he would then. I doubt Bruce Rauner would either. They may be able to get away with quietly not endorsing since they're from safe D states where Trump (presumably) wouldn't spend much time.

Admittedly, it wasn't great for Cruz either. However, an endorsement seems just a bit far off at this point. Sessions seems more likely.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Rep. King endorse Cruz?

He did? I admit I don't pay too much attention to these things. Well I could see him switching to Trump should Cruz falter, and at the Convention, it would probably be the most enthusiastic endorsement for Trump.

I agree, I don't think Rauner or Baker will voluntarily endorse Trump. But I'm sure someone will try to ask them if they support Trump if he's the nominee, so it'll be interesting to see how they respond to that question.
