Not just Jeb!, Stand With Rand, and Carly for President, but also congressional campaigns.

Here's New Mexico's 2014 Republican loser, Allen Weh:

Tommy Thompson:

Justin Trudeau:

And of course, Rudy Giuliani:

Lame.

Of course the one in your signature is just as bad as all those you posted.

They aren't very good. If I campaigned using my first name, nobody would take me seriously.

When your last name is Weh, it's definitely justified.

Depends on who. I like Carly Fiorina's theme but I think Jeb! is annoying and dumb.

Horrible campaigns, but in defense of HILLARY! JEB! and JUSTIN! using only their last name might lead to some confusion/unhelpful assumptions, legitimate or not.

Useful if your last name is lame (Weh) , part of a dynasty (Trudeau, Clinton), double for especially hated dynasties like Bush, generic (Thompson) or impossible to pronounce.

Still very cringeworthy. (nothing makes me cringe more than "BERNIE OMG")

If your first name is fun to say (Bernie, Hillary, Jeb), or there's already a recent president with your surname (Hillary again), I'm in favor of using first names. If you've got a boring first name (I'm looking at you Justin Trudeau), I prefer surnames. Really though, I mix and match using first names and surnames when I'm talking about pols.

I'm surprised Hillary doesn't use her last name more. "Clinton" has a more positive connotation to voters than "Hillary" does.

Not as tacky as those one letter logos. Obama's 'O', Hillary's 'H', etc

Technically Jeb is his initials, not his first name.

They're whatever. Mildly irritating when supporters yell it out.
