I'm just saying there is an underlying sentiment whether they acknowledge it or not, particularly in the South. I don't care. I'm glad Trump takes advantage of it.

Also, at the time, I highly doubt many knew Santorum was Catholic. That's a small part of why he had zero chance at all this time. (Yes, there are other reasons since Huck, etc aren't doing well either, but do remember, he's the only voice more anti-immigrant than Trump. He still didn't have a chance under any scenario.) He tricked people by acting so much like an Evangelical in '12, and his stay was very short-lasting. People didn't have time to vet him as he took the lead at exactly the same time of voting,

Eastern Orthodox > Conservative Roman Catholics(like Santorum and Jeb)

This surprises me a bit. Eastern Orthodoxy is ever so slightly more theologically liberal than orthodox Catholicism (e.g. they allow for divorce and remarriage) but are otherwise nearly identical. I assume that it's mostly a matter of "church politics" and the lack of a pope?

I also wonder how evangelicals view Eastern Catholicism (e.g. Maronites who broke from Eastern Orthodoxy to rejoin Catholicism), to the extent to which they think about it at all.

Not to mention that a lot of traditionalist Catholics have left the church and become Eastern Orthodox because they think it's become too Protestant post-Vatican II.

Jeb Bush is the definition of a JOKE. Drop out you've done enough damage to the party and have embarrassed yourself enough. Grow a backbone when Trump goes after you! Such a coward. Trump calls Bush the definition of weak. Bush looks back at him and whispers "really man? come on" your pathetic Jeb.

Of course Trump is not a christian but then again neither is Jeb Bush.

Dumbest comment on Atlas this week by far, lol.

No real Christian would be running for president.

I'm waiting for someone to point out that Trump is likely the Antichrist.

I'm starting to doubt that Jeb is the "smart one".

Maybe it's Marvin Bush. George is a failed 2 term President. Jeb is stupider than George. Neil doesn't know if the women he slept with were prostitutes. That leaves Marvin since we never hear about him.

It's because the Eastern Orthodox allows clergy to marry.

Eastern Catholic churches do as well.

And the Roman(Western) ones don't.
