The characters are HP, obviously, but the show was....for it's time, FF.

I love a lot of racy shows, (e.g. South Park, Archer) but I have never understood Bevis and Butthead. HP.

Just looking at the "artwork" makes my eyes hurt, so I can't even have an opinion of the content (but I assume I wouldn't like it anyway).

You know who you remind me of sometimes?

Voted FF, but I realize that it's fairly sophomoric.

When I first stumbled upon it, in my apartment in the early 90s, I was stoned and bored.  I remember thinking "What the hell is this?" and being mesmerized by the raw examination of unattended adolescent development.  I started watching it regularly, but within a few weeks, I was reading about the show in newspapers.  Once it became mainstream, either as a reviled target of paranoid criticism or as a glorious vehicle of social commentary, I lost interest.

Occasionally I still catch an errant rerun, and infrequently I sit through an episode in toto, although I wouldn't turn off a rerun of Star Trek just to watch it.  It's probably horrible art--and I wouldn't hope that our society is best judged by its content--but because there was a period, nearly 25 years ago, when I thought it relevated innocent subversion of the dominant paradigm, I voted FF.

Not as good at Mike Judge's crowning achievement, King Of The Hill, but good nonetheless.
