No. He said that Obama running against a primary challenge from the left would make him 'stronger' and 'more progressive'. Which is actually the same thing I am hearing the Hillary cult say about Bernie.

Well I was specifically talking about the idea of a competitive primary challenge making Obama 'a stronger candidate'.  That's just...dumb and I'd have to imagine Sanders regrets he said it.

Exactly, he wouldn't even be running if Hillary wasn't a white woman.

No, I don't think that's it. If Elizabeth Warren, a white woman, was running, he probably wouldn't be.
