6 Americans and an Englishman have been certified GreatTM. But which one was the Greatest? I don't have problems with any of them since they have the seal of approval, but I do think John Rich was the most talented of the winners. That might have been the peak season.

HM's to Gerlado Rivera, Lisa Lampanelli, and Clay Aiken. I think they all had the potential to win, particularly Lisa.

Piers edged out Marilu Henner in Episode 8 and then future Season 7 Winner Trace Adkins in the finale. That was all his competition. Weak season imo. Even the Donald couldn't get many potential Greats to participate back then.
