A bizarre combination of what seems to be a slightly liberal variant of Christianity with weird libertarian politics. He's pretty much the stereotypical Atlas Forum Republican, who will no doubt either become a Democrat when he realizes that Republicans do not share one iota of his views aside from his penchant for crackpot economic theories and/or he lives under a Republican administration that isn't 'socially liberal and fiscally conservative' (i.e. an actual Republican administration).

How in the world does that describe RFayette?

Moderate  Republican

And TNF's description would have been spot-on if it were opposite day.  I favor social conservatsim far more than economic issues, and my Bible-believing, hellfire-and-brimstone fundamentalism is hardly a 'liberal' strain of Christianity by any stretch of the imagination.

What did you expect? He's a commuist. They're pretty much insane by definition.

Guys, TNF has been away quite awhile so I wouldn't be questioning it too much.

Yeah, he's probably merging an earlier impression/version of RFayette with the overtly Christian current one.

And for RFayette, well, we've pretty much already established this. Went from "fiscally conservative, socially liberal, guyse!" to a more-vocal-than-usual religious conservative. Strange, considering that he's apparently still majoring in computer science, which seems to breed a motley crew of libertarians and left-wingers (even more ironic given the plethora of jobs for these people in the federal government's national security and law enforcement apparatus), and doesn't strike me as the type of study to promote religion in most forms.

Quite difficult to pigeonhole, if if I had to go with something short and snappy, I'd say a pessimistic conservative with a disdain for both elitism and populism (at least as those terms are commonly defined).

Assuming the Trump support is sincere (he might be the only real one) something like "nationalistic moderate conservative" would do the trick.

Firstly, no, secondly, sorry, but you're not my type.
