This forum is the biggest ṡhit show I think I've ever seen in my life. The so called "staff" members of this community should be embarrassed, frankly.

On topic, Jeb had a nice night and Rand also did well. Ted stayed above the water.

CNN is already prattling around about Marco Rubio's #moments. Ugh (shakes head).

The media has literally said Rubio won (or was among the winners) in every single debate.

Junk media!

The monster a few posts above me is the most re-quoted post I have ever seen. Has anything been reposted more than that?

Trump won by not showing up-Fox surely had several videos lined up for him.

Otherwise, I'd give it Christie, Jeb, or Rand. Cruz and Rubio got beat up pretty bad. Kasich was Kasich. And Carson didn't speak at all and didn't try to.

WTF was with Carson's closing statement?

So serious discussion, since I didn't watch the debate completely because I was re watching game of thrones (probably will do tomorrow).

I tried to look at online polls but that doesn't help because Paul is in this debate and everything tend to skewed toward Paul online.

Did Paul have a good night?

And more importantly, is Cruz among the loser of the debate?  Or the winner circle?

I think Jeb! looked great tonight. If he had done this earlier in the campaign he might stand a chance

I thought Paul did pretty well. I didn't like one particular answer of his about abortion, but he did a good job of preaching his message of liberty and not sacrificing it for security. His closing comments where he talked about his experiences in the past year or so (going to Haiti to perform surgery on poor kids, being in the Senate, running for President) was good. He also talked about his Dad and how much he loved and respected him earlier, which was also touching.

Cruz was alright. Not my favorite debate from him, but he held his own in the end. He's probably a winner because he didn't hurt himself.

Rubio has essentially won an on-air endorsement from Fox News, so at least he's got that going for him.

I expect that we'll interpret Cruz's poor performance tonight as a turning point in these primaries, in hindsight.

I just don't get how he keeps fooling the media into thinking that he's anything close to an intelligent or substantive candidate. The dude literally uses the same 200 words in ever answer, debate, speech, etc that he's ever given in his career. He must have been a really crappy lawyer. He has to be the biggest empty suit since John Edwards.

It's why the media doesn't get why Rubio isn't winning, voters watch him and they think in their heads "LIGHTWEIGHT."

I'll also point out that I think that those who are bullish on Trump are now making the same mistake that Trump-skeptics have been making for months now. That is, they are treating the national media's reaction as indicative of the state of the race.

In reality, we probably won't know much about how Republican caucus-goers are reacting to this until we see the caucus results. But we shouldn't assume that national media attention and punditry are leading indicators for this.

Hmm, that is disappointing.
