Why is Atlas anti-Rubio? Because they know he is the most electable candidate and he would make a successful and deadly effective conservative president, more so than all the others.

Did you even bother to read the last two pages?

Rubio is the most hardcore neocon in the Republican primary. He'd probably invade Syria and start shooting down Russian planes if elected President.

He's bad, but not as bad as Fiorina and Christie, who legitimately scare me.

Because Rubio takes it up the ass and lies about it.

My ISideWith Political Themes I think tell a lot about why I don't like Trump (all are scored on a -100 to +100 scale with a different name for the negative side):
Security- 78
Globalization- 72
Anthropocentrism- 62
Small Government- 100
Elitism- 100 OVER POPULISM
Traditional- 68 (should be higher)
Laissez-faire- 64 (should be higher)
Deregulation- 64
Tough- 86
Individualism- 88
Assimilation- 50
Militarism- 70
Centralization- 18 (if I'm understanding this theme right, I disagree with my result)
Capitalism- 80
Imperialism- 74
Unilateralism- 68 (I don't fully understand this theme)

In addition to the fact that Trump adds little for values voters/socons

What questionnaire did that come from? Do you have a link? It sounds interesting.

There are many more Dems on this webstite and very few main stream republicans.

Trump, Cruz and the Dems fear him the most for good reason. Just look at the amount of negative ads spent against him compared to every other candidate. That right there sums it up for you.

LBJ was a heavyweight in politics, no question about it.  Qualified in every way to be president.  But his policies were a disaster and we are still suffering from the ill effects of his administration.
By contrast, Marco Rubio's policies would resume the road to recovery and fiscal sanity we had under Ronald Reagan.

Yes, giving healthcare to the elderly and poor, giving blacks voting rights and stopping people getting kicked out of housing for not being white is clearly why America is suffering today

Rubio is a moderate. Not a conservative. Let's get that straight. Also, he will start WW3 and grow the size of government the same way both Bush's did.

Please stop using "grow" as an active verb. "Expand", "increase", and so on do not put nearly as much strain on the ears, eyes, or brain. Also, I'd love to hear you make the case for conservatism being inherently anti-government.

It tells me that the candidates doing so are trying to woo over the establishment vote and take it away from Rubio. Nothing more.

This forum is no more anti-Rubio than it is anti-Sanders. Most of us just don't get all the hype over someone who's only considered the most reasonable and electable Republican because his primary opponents are Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

Probably because every time conventional wisdom is repeated, its gets more boring and sounds more forced.

Let's dispel with this fiction that Atlas doesn't know what it's doing. We know exactly what we're doing.

Let's also dispel this myth that Rubio doesn't know that he's repeating talking points. He knows exactly which talking points he's repeating.

To reiterate what I've said elsewhere: Rubio seems genuinely unprepared to be president to almost anyone who bothers to look at him closely. Yet he combines this with being a relatively capable candidate. What's not scary about that?

Marco Rubio isn't a mainstream Republican. Well, maybe he's a "Mainstream Republican" in the sense that his views are generally in line with the very very conservative wing of the Republican Party, but his views are by no means "mainstream" in terms of the American public.
