CBS: #IAcaucus entrance poll results, GOP: only 11% of those who made up their minds in "the last few days" are choosing @RealDonaldTrump

Not terribly surprising.

It really is remarkable what Trump has done to the Republican Party. Can't say that the party doesn't really deserve the shellacking that it has taken though. The anger and disappointment with the George W. Bush administration is still very potent I think.

Cnn has just announced that Carson will be taking a break after iowa no matter what. Sounds like end to the campaign

I think the death of that volunteer a week or two ago is still gnawing at him.  I don't blame him.

Me either. Also, he just seemed to hit his peak too early.

As a reminder: CNN's first wave of entrance polls in 2012 had Paul leading.

Man. Can you guys imagine if Republicans had a 15% viability threshold like the Dems? It would be so freakin' chaotic.

Well, have fun everybody, I probably won't post in this thread or the Democratic ones (to much to handle and likely slow forum) but I will be reading the responses. Can't wait for the bombardment of activity and of course the vote count!

What happens if people are still queuing when the doors are meant to close? Will they wait?

Apparently this is happening. They're actually starting late because of it, according to CNN, and it's already standing room only.

By the way, I tried to get Realist's and Wulfric's attention on the primary maps thread. I wrote:

"I can see that two other users on this thread (Realist and Wulfric) seem to both be endorsing the Kasich campaign which is quite nice to see. As you are probably aware the campaign is really struggling, which is quite disappointing. Being that we are still polling around twelve percent in New Hampshire, I think that we are virtually on life support at this point. I don't see any viable way to be competitive in the state right now and if Kasich loses New Hampshire by fifteen to twenty points, then as far as reality is concerned, we are done."

I would be interested in you guys take on the situation.

Three-way between Trump, Cruz, Rubs

EDIT: Posted in a hurry, but will preserve for hilarity. The CNN Entry polls show it's a three-way race between them.

How come we don't get any proper #s like what you get in the UK, Germany etc. with exit/entrance polls?
