A question that came up in the Bessell household as the Iowa results rolled in. Discuss.

Can you imagine an Obama/Obama/Cruz voter?

I sure can't.

Someone who is incredibly racist against whites and considers Cruz to be non-white enough? That's all I can think of.

It's hard - I think that ultimately, Cruz is more tolerable to the base and appears more sane (lol). However, Trump has hit the right cord with a bunch of dissatisfied folks that don't typically vote. Additionally, while Cruz is the more sane choice, it's like choosing between two spoiled apples to most swing voters, so I suspect that they would vote for the Democrat regardless.

I'm going to say Trump, for now. I'd still prefer Cruz of the two because I think he would (barely) make a better president.

It's Trump, who at least has some charm and knows how to pivot. Cruz repulses everybody in his path.

The Trump, he has some appeal to the center. America won't elect a hardline right-winger.
