It seems to me that more posters here come from Pennsylvania than any other state, even California.  Or maybe it's the people from Pennsylvania who post the most.

Any idea why?  Do several of you from the Keystone state know each other offline?

Something in the water in Philly. I believe we have around 6 members from the Philly area here.

They're all impostors. Don't be fooled, they are from Iowa really. We all are.

I think we hold the record with 3 consistent members!  We also have a few nearby in PA and a large crew from Southern New Jersey, basically within minutes from me across the Delaware River.

I'm not sure people from the other states always see it that way. Tongue

I'll admit, it's more interesting than Maryland politics. At least you guys have 1 or 2 competitive house races. That's more than can be said about most states.

Yeah, I was just kidding.  I've always found state-level politics mind-numbingly boring myself, and usually don't concern myself with it.  I imagine I'd probably feel the same even if I lived in PA.

If it wasn't for the dedicated 'PA Posse', or 'Keystone Klan', I would never even have heard of many of the names that they talk about.

Probably true. My personal opinion is that I don't give a damn about state politics, I know rather harsh but it's true.

It's not Pennsylvanians its Philadelphians. Why do we have so many of you guys? Not enough interesting things to do out there? Tongue

My sister who lives in Northeast Philly -- I can amaze her with my "vast political knowledge" when we discuss Philly politics, who she votes for -- she's amazed I know all the candidates and issues, when all I do is think back to this damn forum, hah.

One of them is doing an internship for Rep. Schwartz.  I think nini.  So he's the third PA-13'er.

Yeah that's me (it's over now-it was only 3 weeks, but I might be back next summer for her re-election campaign(

BTW, I think PA is #2 behind FL in terms of interesting politics, because our state has a such a disparity of politics.

You should give me a call or e-mail if you ever were to come up to Philly.
