This one is hardest for me.

I guess he's put a bigger emphasis on increasing voter turnout than most other Republicans even if he's focusing on bitter white evangelicals, rather than truly marginalized voters.

Cruz is just as "focus groupy" as Rubio/Hillary, if not moreso. Don't be fooled: every action this guy takes and every thing he says is calculated well in advance. He's extremely devious.

Probably the least "focus groupy" candidates are Sanders and Trump, along with the candidates who can't afford focus groups like Gilmore and Santorum.
