Well, it's been nice knowing you, Trump.  Sayonara!

In all seriousness, let's see what happens in NH before we reach any conclusions.  The wave of negative press that crashed down on him might let up if he has a good showing there.

PPP's last national poll was a while ago (12/16-12/17), and showed Trump 34%, Cruz 18%, and Rubio 13%. Significantly diminished probably means he's around high/mid 20s right now at best, assuming he's still even leading.

Yes, the Republicans are going to elect a far-right candidate instead of a moderate. Hooray! Roll Eyes

My god liberals are short-sighted idiots. So many of them celebrating the fall of TRUMP, only to be replaced with insane neocon fascists like Cruz and Rubio.

People are surprised by this? Trump was inevitably going to fall. The question is by how much, and how much does it translate into in NH?

I can't see Trump falling so hard in a week that he blows a 22 point lead in New Hampshire.

From what I've read, Trump would have done fine if he had actually had an organization. He's not fully trying for the nomination, he's just out there having fun for himself.

I wouldn't put money on it, but it's very possible. He's facing nearly every headwind imaginable right now. The coverage of his loss has been brutal. And instead of giving momentum to Cruz, who actually WON when he was expected to lose, they're giving it to Rubio, who could defeat Trump in NH whereas Cruz could not.

I suspect it'll get even uglier for him during/after the debate too.

The guy came out this morning and gave this stemwinder:

Don't worry, he's still got it.
Also, if turnout had been at 2012 levels, Trump would have done just fine.  He got 45,427 votes, that would have been 41% in 2012.  He got ed because Cruz went around the state and found literally every single person who could vote for him and turned them out.

That being said,

People are surprised by this? Trump was inevitably going to fall. The question is by how much, and how much does it translate into in NH?

you really need to stop using that word.

No, because TRUMP is going to be the nominee, and he's going to deport you, and we're all gonna have a nice chuckle about it.
