Well, it was bad, but theoretically could've been worse. And I doubt he had much of a chance to win in this Republican party's primaries anyway.

It doesn't sound like it has been confirmed, but if true, it was unexpected that he would leave before a number of other candidates. Nevertheless, if true, no surprise. I didn't think he had a chance. (btw I voted Rubio)

I disagree completely with Rand of economic & fiscal policies & even in some issues like LGBT rights, etc but Rand was a voice of reason. I thought he was brilliant, very sound on the debate. Embarrassed Trump.

If Hillary was half as good as as Rand and less robotic & fake, she would have swept all polls by now

For me:

General: LP nominee.

Primary: anyone but Trump. And while Cruz has some unlibertarian habits, he's not nearly as bad as Rubio--especially on foreign policy. So, I guess Cruz, by process of shadenfruede. But I went with Governor Gary Johnson in the poll.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I hope they vote Libertarian in November.

Surprised, but a smart move on his part, I like Rand a lot and he will get another crack and this again one day. I believe he will either support Rubio or Cruz, not sure which one yet.

Even with RECORD TURNOUT, Rand Paul in 2016 got fewer Iowa votes than Ron Paul in 2008 (when he wasnt allowed to debate, called a kook, etc). Rand is a total loser. Guy came in with all the hype in the world and fell on his curly haired face.

His voice is so damn annoying too.

Next time maybe he should just pick a side rather than faking to be a moderate or faking to be a libertarian. His father must be so embarrassed.
