Looks like old Frothy is out. He will make the announcement tonight. The real question is....who do his voters flock to now?

I was about to make a thread about whether Santorum would get less votes than Gilmore in New Hampshire. Looks like he didn't want to find out.

But what about the tour of every county in South Carolina? Surely that could have vaulted him to the top!

Yeah, and he could have dropped by VPDuke's law offices to preach to him about how the devil had taken over his pro-aborting, SSM loving, soul, and that he was the path to taking the first baby step to being saved.

His voter is probably considering switching to Carson, Cruz, or Rubio.

Article here:

He will apparently endorse someone. Cruz seems the most likely.

Trump seems more logical, he practically creams himself over Trump's plans

Santorum aligns himself more with Cruz than Trump, I would imagine. I'd be kinda surprised if he endorsed Trump over Cruz.

Wooot wooot!!!!

Bye bye Tricky Ricky!!!!

Finally! I had a bad feeling he was going to stick around forever.

Of course, if he were to endorse Cruz I'd be willing to change my views on him a little....tiny bit. But Trump is more likely as others have said.

In terms of policy and ideology he is practically identical to Cruz.  But hopefully he'll set his personal views aside to help Make America Great Again by endorsing the electable, moderate TRUMP.

He's only moderate because his views balance out to that, can we all accept that?

In other words, his views largely align with the majority of Americans.  TRUMP is the voice of The People.

Actually, except for the Jesus stuff (big except, granted) and foreign policy, Santorum is closer to Trump ideologically than Cruz.

Santorum is nothing like Cruz. Santorum is right of Cruz socially, and left of Cruz economically.

Santorum said many likable things this time around. My favorite was when he said if we want to slow down global warming, we should bring jobs back to the US from overseas, since our factories produce less environmentally-harming waste. He focused a lot less on the social issues. I kind of think Santorum was a better candidate this time around than last time.
