A big driving narrative of the night was how it looked like Clinton was going to win pretty easily, then narrowly, then maybe not at all, and eventually it became clear she would eek out a tiny victory. In some ways it was a microcosm of the campaign as a whole, and lent credence to the whole "can't shake the Bern" narrative. If, however, we had gotten the same votes reported in the opposite order, where Bernie would have been leading all night until the very last precincts came in, would the narrative be any different? Would cries that Clinton stole the election be significantly louder? How might the media have covered it?
