Not for Presidential races. For extremely local ones like state legislative races, yeah, endorsements play a role in how I see candidates.

Yes, there are any number of people and organizations, both known to me personally and not, whose opinions and views I take into special consideration. I wonder where these very special people, who come up with their opinions while being completely uninfluenced by anyone, are.

No, of course not, but it's pretty funny that a certain sitting President hasn't endorsed anybody yet.  Perhaps he's waiting to see if she's going to jail or not first?

You should have added an option "Possibly, depending on who it is from". I could care less about the bulk of endorsements one would get, but if it's from someone I truly respect and trust, it might influence my decision at least a little bit.

I try not to base my vote on endorsements, but subconsciously they can have an effect.

Depends on who, if Glenn Beck gives someone the nod, I will support them

Sitting presidents almost never endorse.

Didn't Ike endorse Nixon in 1960 and Reagan endorse Bush 1 in 1988?  And I'm pretty darn sure Bush 2 endorsed McCain in 2008.

And Clinton was giving speeches in Iowa before the caucus for Gore.

Sometimes.

For example, I don't care if some random congressman endorses someone, unless it's my congressman, but, before she endorsed Donald Trump, I was indifferent to Sarah Palin, now she's the plus side to Obama winning in 2008.
