Is there anything in common between the two movies?

They're both American action movies from the 1990s?

I looked at the wiki for both films and they don't share any cast or crew, but they did share one feature that caught my eye.

Giant heads, tilted a bit, title in lower left....but I'm guessing if we looked through a bunch of action movies a lot of them would have the same deal.

I prefer True Lies, or at least I've seen it more.

Both of them feature terrorists from the eastern hemisphere as villains and the main characters are played by actors with serious name recognition.

Obviously.

Art culture is being lost...

The one posted above is a remake from that French one:

Defo looks French, thus fancier.

Amusing how movie posters can totally answer the 1st question I quoted by themselves.
