Obviously Gilmore. Their names rhyme.

Millard Fillmore was the Presidential nominee of the American Party (the Know-Nothings), an anti-immigrant party, in 1856 (he lost).  So my answer is Trump.

He never wanted to be nominated. He only joined the Know-Nothings because it was the only party besides the Democratic Party that wasn't completely anti-slavery.

Fillmore was a scheming New York politico who stumbled into power, but by the looks of it, had always intended to be there. He favored compromise over ideology. Based on those two facts, I'd say Clinton is reminiscent. Trump certainly might match his actual views (whatever those might be) the most. Nevertheless, if this were to be truly analogous, Trump would be Zachary Taylor and whatever scheming weasel he chose as his Vice President would be Fillmore. Therefore I'll go with Scott Brown.

Alec Baldwin. Even though he isn't running. Millard Fillmore is Alec Baldwin.

I just heard a mattress ad on the radio about Millard Fillmore (he was joked about) for a President's Day sale. How odd that he keeps popping up today.

I'm going with Gilmore for no reason whatsoever.

I see your point but does Gilmore's name begin with "Fi"? No. Which is why I say Fiorina. Millardia "Carly" Fiorina.

Sounds like a character from an early 20th century novel. Or a genus of South Asian members of the mouse family.
