From 538: "In 2008, 52 percent of voters in the New Hampshire Republican primary said abortion should always or sometimes be legal, according to the exit poll. Only 15 percent said it should always be illegal."

Define sometimes.

Some of the time.

Q: Senator Rubio, who is going to win the Super Bowl?

Rubio: Barack Obama knows EXACTLY what he's doing with respect to the Super Bowl...

Doubling down on social conservatism will destroy the gop

Like it or not, the average American is far closer to the (in my opinion too) moderate position on abortion that my party offers than the ridiculous, crazy, and extreme position of the Democrats.

I'm pro-life, but I think the Democrats are winning on the issue BY FAR.

Actually the GOP is winning by far on this issue.

From 538: "In 2008, 52 percent of voters in the New Hampshire Republican primary said abortion should always or sometimes be legal, according to the exit poll. Only 15 percent said it should always be illegal."

The pro-life side generally does much better when sometimes is further broken down.  Because even someone who opposes rape and incest exceptions, but supports some maternal health exception would technically be sometimes.

Also, remember that the current issues being fought on are waiting periods, a 20-week ban, and defunding PP, not a total ban (at least until a couple SCOTUS nominees).

It didn't specify, and just broke it down into questions of Always Legal, Mostly Legal, Mostly Illegal, Always Illegal.

Why does Rubio and his children have big ass ears

He's going to need clothespins when he gets to the "old man ears" stage.

He doesn't need one. The audience's disapproval should be enough.

He'll be lucky to get 75% of his poll numbers.

The immediate media spin looks like it's focusing on the Christie/Rubio fight. This bodes well for Christie and bad for Rubio before NH.

Do any of you have any polling or other evidence to back either of your opinions up?

Rubio and Cruz are master debaters, they won't flub out

Rubio is good at reciting talking points and canned answers. When he is forced to go off-script he has that deer-in-headlights look.

How prescient.
