I don't want to say it's a lock yet, but I think his chances of winning increased drastically.

He's almost definitely stopped the downward trend in his poll numbers, so yes.

It's probably more accurate to say that Rubio lost whatever chance he had of winning NH. That, in turn, might guarantee that Trump wins.

Considering Rubio was the only real competition left I would say yes.

The debate probably didn't help him much independent of that fact though.

Rubio is going to crash because of this. Bush, Christie, Kasich, and Rubio are now going to get about the same % and allow TRUMP to win.

Trump is going to win NH, but as usual the spotlight will not be on first but who is below (2nd place).

Entering tonight, I figured no matter how Rubio did, it wouldn't matter because people would still strategically vote for him because he's better than Trump and the lesser evil.

Now I realize, he is so incompetent that people would never vote for him because he simply cannot win a general election anyway so they might as well go with their gut.

Trump is surviving the battle; he's going to lose the war.

I agree - but I do think the two people who will get close to TRUMP in New Hampshire (Christie, Kasich, or even potentially Bush) won't be able to really capitalize it because the map sucks for them in the immediate future.

Kasich, Christie and Bush won - Trump didn't damage himself which allows him to still be on track for South Carolina. I think SC decides between Trump and Cruz.

I think Trump won, in that he protected his lead, and will have a solid primary win.

I think Cruz was a winner as well.  I now believe that Cruz will finish 2nd in New Hampshire.  This is because Marco Rubio did so badly that I think he will hemorrhage votes to where the Establishment candidates will be in a 4 way cluster, and Rubio will not be leading the pack.  I also think that Rubio's poor performance gave pause to a number of contributors who may have been ready to bolt the Jeb! team.

The Super Bowl will be painful for New Hampshire with Peyton Manning there instead of beloved Tom Brady, great friend of Donald Trump. Only he can make the Patriots great again.

Rubio certainly lost NH tonight. Trump helped himself tonight. He secured his lead and will likely win handily Tuesday. The real question is whether Rubio finishes second or Kasich moves up.

(1) It'll be wiped out of the national news temporarily, but not in New Hampshire where voters are focusing on the election more closely. National opinion isn't what matters in terms Tuesday's result.

(2) Rubio is not doing well enough that it's enough for him to maintain his current level of support. He needs positive momentum. So far, glowing media coverage has catalyzed this momentum. Now, Rubio can no longer rely on that.

(3) It's a moment that harms Rubio in two ways: It simultaneously detracts directly from Rubio's perceived strength as a rhetorician while drawing attention to his relative inexperience.

It'll be interesting to see just how much this damages Rubio. If Rubio's in 3rd in NH, it seriously damages his credibility as a candidate. (3-3-3 strategy doesn't sound nearly as catchy as 3-2-1). If Rubio's in 2nd, it gives him a chance to recover. Either way, this blunted Rubio's upwards trajectory.

Rubio's damaged his biggest asset: his electability. Could you imagine the man we just saw going mano-a-mano with Hillary Clinton this fall?

It might be displaced from the media focus, but I expect the Christie, Bush and Kasich campaigns are cutting ads right now.
