Where to Invade Next is an informative documentary by Michael Moore in which he visits several countries in the eastern hemisphere and learns stuff from the cultures of these countries.

We could actually learn something from the rest of the world.

I've never understood the hatred towards Michael Moore.

One thing that always bothers me about this country is how little its citizens understand about how the rest of the world works.  Not that they've ever thought to try and visit it, of course.

I've never understood the hatred towards Michael Moore.

I never had a problem understanding it.  He carries all the worst of all US stereotypes in one person:  he's obese, he's sensationalistic, he's paranoid, he's a shrill babbler who's so convinced that he's right about everything that he is convinced that if others disagree with him, then they must be fools.

That said, I generally enjoy his films.  (Hate the man, not his work.)  I'd watch it.

It takes time and an attention span to learn about other countries in the world. I didn't know that the Dominican Republican has a Chinatown until someone I know from that country told me about it.

What drives me up the wall is how most Americans can't find Guatemala, Syria, France, or the Ukraine on a world map. I can understand if you have trouble finding Dominica, Barbados, or San Marino on a map, but the Ukraine?
