'Friends, I must apologize for the delay in officially launching my campaign. After running my own Presidential bid I needed a much needed period of rest, but I was always certain of one thing; I'd be backing the Northeast. That's why I'm running for re-election.

I've always believed in the Northeast, whether it was during TNF's rebellion, when I returned as Attorney General to boost activity or when I took over as Governor when our region was deeply divided. As I've said so many times on the stump people said that it was not possible for the Northeast to bounce back; but we did just that. Look at our record on governmental reform, on the economy, on healthcare and on education. We've send out a clear message; Atlasia can always move forwards towards the sweet bliss that is Progress.

I'm going to be simple; this election is about how is best suited to deliver us a reformed Atlasia. Whether it's the Presidential, Senate or Gubernational elections it's vitally important that we elect people who can get the job done. People who have the experience required, and people who are proved independent voices. I'll be doing what I always do when I run for Governor; giving speeches, talking to voters and inspiring the most important Atlasian traditons; active elections.

I've always put my faith in the Northeast, and I believe that's it's paid off for the last four months. I'll be hitting the road to earn your vote, and hopefully get another term in the finest office in the land. ''

Best of all we've got our dear President Griffin fighting for re-election. We need a President who can continue to push Atlasia towards it's new birth-Governor Leinad has decided to quote me several times when challenging Griffin, but I can not say this loud enough.... President Griffin is the candidate who can deliever real change for Atlasia. Vote with your head, vote with your heart and vote with your gut-It's got to be Griffin.'

You've been one of the most active Governors in recent months, and I'd like to see that continue, despite your Presidential endorsement.

'Despite not facing an opponent I'm happy that I won such a broad swath of support from voters across the Northeast. I've ran a much less public campaign than usual but I'm proud that we've won a mandate to continue with an active and progressive Northeast. I'm sure that my second term as Governor will allow us to hopefully wrap up the last term in the Northeast, and ease the transition into a new, and improved Atlasia. I'd like to congratulate all the assembly members elected, and hope that we can have another active term in office. We're still waiting on the Presidential race, and I send my regards to both Griffin and Leinad-election night is always a bundle of nerves.

Well, I guess we're both going to be Governors a little while longer, but under different circumstances.
