I guess. The only thing we can really infer is whether more Indies will vote in the GOP primary or the Dem primary based on how many votes each have. And even then it's a guess.

I will most definitely be up and predict a slight Trump edge in all 3 'pub towns and a slight Clinton edge on the dem side.

The expectation is for Trump to sweep. If he doesn't, it's great news for all the rest of the Republican field.

I think Kasich will do well there, he's the only candidate who actually visited these areas.

Huntsman tied for the lead in Dixville last time around, so I could see it happening. This "Trump must sweep" idea is ludicrous and not realistic.

If Trump loses them, it could rally anti-Trump voters, likewise it could rally Pro-Trump voters, but then again, does anyone take these at face value?

Sounds like Sanders/Kasich territory to me.

Dixville Notch is a freedom town--Huntsman tied for first in 2012, so probably Kasich.

Previous results

Anyone have recent Millsfield results? They haven't done midnight voting since the 1950s.

What do you guys want me to do with this thread?  Sticky it for the next few hours, and then start new threads for the rest of the results tomorrow?  Because my initial plan was to have a NH Dem. results thread and a NH GOP results thread, with the midnight town results included in those threads along with everything else.  But now that this thread exists, maybe we should treat the midnight towns separately?

I think that could probably work

I don't get it.

If voting opens at midnight in these towns, doesn't that mean the residents have around 20 hours or so to cast their vote when the NH polls close tomorrow at 7 - 8pm-ish?

Why would be expect results tonight?

In these towns, they make sure to get everyone out to vote at midnight so they can then announce their results.

I'm guessing the voting in these towns is covered live on CNN, or one of the other news networks?

CNN might.  Fox News Channel and MSNBC are usually in repeats at midnight.  I'm not sure if they will break into their repeats for coverage.

CNN just had a shot from inside the counting area in Dixville Notch, they seem excited about it so I'm almost certain they will cover it.
