They seem to be getting a little bit ahead of themselves.

No, they know Clinton is the favorite, so they try to help Sanders, so the campaign is the longest possible.

Longer campaign, more ads to sell, more ratings.

This is historic.

No matter how things go after NH (and no matter how the Hillary hacks are going to rationalize NH), Bernie's campaign has already achieved what nobody ever thought they could. His message and his voters will be a force to be reckoned with for the future of the Democratic party. This is just the beginning.

It seems more are voting in than DEM primary than the GOP primary. Is this expected?
Right now it's
GOP 29,478 votes, 14% reporting (41 of 300 precincts)
DEM 34,983 votes, 14% reporting (43 of 300 precincts)

Back in 2008 I think the Dem Primary had about 15% more voters than GOP Primary.

The issue is how you expand those ideas beyond the Democratic base. This CAN be a good thing for the Democrats, but if not done right could blow up in their faces, particularly if the GOP decides not to drive themselves off a cliff.

About the same as Iowa - Sanders must have had better turnout and closed the gap with olds.

That's what I fear. I can get behind Bernie in the general, but he has yet to define himself. Even in the primary, what do Democratic voters know about Bernie besides him being against Wall Street and the Establishment. If he gets nuked by Republican money and they define him as some crazy old Jewish socialist from the North then he's f7cked in the general electorate. No matter how many college kids come out.

That's actually surprisingly good Sanders numbers among non-whites. If he can get that elsewhere a win is possible in NV and even SC, if unlikely.

What was the registered Dems vs. independents breakdown?

Democrats: 50-50 Clinton
Independents: 72-27 Sanders

http://edition.cnn.com/election/primaries/polls/nh/Dem

Great silver lining for my fellow Hillaryites. If Bernie can't win registered Dems in NH of all places, he has essentially no chance in any closed primaries.

To the replacement of the old centrist elites leading the party to nowhere.
Will take a few decades, but it's the first step.

As cell phones should be banned in polling stations, there is no way voters would hear about it.
