Christie ended being a stalking horse for Rubio. He wounded Rubio without benefiting himself but ended up helping others, in this case Kasich.

Remember, Clinton won the Dem nomination in '92 while losing in both Iowa and New Hampshire.  He got 2nd in NH.

Mostly because Harkin was the favorite son for Iowa which made that a non-contest.

Wow, looks like the total voters in GOP primary will exceed Dem primary.  Quite a turnaround from 2008.

Serious question:

Could the surge in turnout for GOP races and dip in Democratic ones be the first signs of a Republican landslide nine months from now?

The 2008 commentators were certainly making that point for the Dems.

I do not see how Rubio breaks out of 5th place.  Bush's hope for 3rd place would mostly rest on Dover.
