I am opening this now, since I seem to have garnered a challenger. I like it a bit this way, since there's not much satisfying about an uncontested victory.

I've been here long enough now, that I have garnered a great deal of experience in how Atlasia works. I have used this experience to advance a vision for Atlasia that is both conservative and pragmatic, offering solutions that are consistent with the vision of the Federalist Party.

I don't want to go into too much detail now, since I don't want to bore everyone with my extensive record. I will however give one illustrative example. Recently, when Senator Kent proposed a bold new bill to address education in Atlasia, I had my misgivings at first. The bill was vague and I was concerned it went too far in some areas.

So I got down to brass tacks and started working on amending it to be more specific. I changed details to work in concert with a previous bill I had authored limiting tuition at universities. I strategically advanced ideas that allowed us to get the most bang for our buck promoting sustainable investment in growing employment fields in the Atlasian economy. The bill has not passed yet, but the version on the floor of the Senate now is much refined, and is something that I am proud to support in its current form.

I am asking for the votes of my fellow Southerners now, so I can continue to work on using my experience and knowledge to promote ideas that will help us grow. Let's all get out there and vote later this month!

Looks like I won. I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me, and thank Assemblyman Steelers for running. The odds weren't in his favor, but Atlasia needs people like that who are willing to put themselves out there and take a few licks contesting elections.
