I'm betting on Washington as the answer.

In fact I think there's only four double digit EV states he can: Washington, Indiana, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

California
It depends on doing better with Hispanics. It's easier than most southern states because Sanders is already doing as well among Hispanics as Obama was, and equally as well among coastal whites.

Washington if he's still in the race by then. Minnesota otherwise.

Michigan and Pennsylvania are states he would have to win to win the nomination, and I think he could be competitive in both of them with enough momentum behind him.

California is so late in the process that Sanders will be able to win it if he's still in the race.

I don't think he can win a larger state than California, so California will have to do.

The thought of Sanders winning Michigan is laughable.

If he keeps his current level of support, Washington. If he gets a boost of momentum and makes the race for the nomination closer, California is a possibility.

I agree that it's unlikely, but if we're agreeing that Sanders has a non-zero chance of winning the nomination, it's a state that he can win, because he'd have to.

Coincidentally, California is also the largest state Clinton can win, since you know, it's the largest state...

One thing to remember for all the people saying Washington, we have a caucus for the Democratic Party. The primary counts for nothing.

Sanders would win a WA primary easy. He'd probably win the caucus, too, but it'll be closer.

Are we going by area? If so, Alaska, California, and Montana.

He would win either in a landslide imo.  WA is definitely Feeling the Bern.  This is the state that voted for Howard Dean.

Definitely Alaska (haha). The one poll that we've had suggests a decent Sanders lead and it's a state that went very heavily for Obama in 2008. Not many blacks or Hispanics up there. Not sure if the Native Americans (really, Alaska Natives) make up a large enough percentage to affect the Dem caucus numbers.

California would be a tough swing. If he was still in and competitive, maybe. He needs to have a broader coalition to make it to CA. I could see him winning in Washington. Not quite sure about Arizona. There's some pretty liberal Democrats down in AZ (they've elected Sinema and Grijalva, the latter of whom endorsed Sanders).

Minnesota should also be in the win column for Sanders. Colorado, while smaller than MN, AZ, or WA, should also be a good state for Sanders.
