Yeah this is really stupid.  It opens her up for an indignant Sanders on the debate stage to say something like "You know, Secretary Clinton, when I was growing up I never knew [family members].  I would see them in books and ask my parents when they would come visit, but they never did.  When I grew older I found out that they had been murdered, along with many of my other Jewish family members in the Holocaust.  That's something that affected me very deeply and to this day I still believe very firmly [default Democratic positions on Israel presented Sanders-style].  So for you to suggest, Madame Secretary, that I don't care about Israel is insulting and hurtful."  New York Values moment.

This doesn't even make sense from a demographic point of view; Hillary should be focused on shoring up her "minority firewall" and this is not an issue they have a particular affinity with.

Mods pls change title. This entire thread is incorrect and misleading. The only person literally in the Clinton Campaign orbit talking about Israel is the random jewish former NH Congressman. There are no quotes from either the candidate or anyone affiliated with her campaign or SuperPACs that mention anything even remotely resembling attack on Sanders' Israel record, mostly because Democrats don't care about Israel in the first place.

I merely used the title of the newspaper article from a fairly reputable Israeli newspaper.  I do see your point though so I will change the title from
