I think we can all agree on the fact that Trump definitely is going to win South Carolina.
The winner of a congressional district is awarded 3 delegates, and the winner of the whole state is awarded all 29 delegates.
So, do you think Trump will win every district?

I don't see how a 16-point Trump polling lead doesn't translate into him winning every district, unless the polls are very, very wrong.

It depends how deviant the CD is from the rest of the state, that contains Charleston. But it is not clear that Trump really would do worse there, than elsewhere. Are there enough hard right religious types in the Greenville CD to put Cruz ahead there?

I think Cruz should definitely win the 4th CD, and possibly also the 3rd, even if he's losing by a decent margin statewide. The 1st defied the rest of the state to pick Romney over Gingrich in 2012, but I think without a unified establishment candidate the 1st may vote Trump even if Cruz wins the state, never mind if Trump wins nicely as this thread seems to presume.

I don't see how a 16-point Trump polling lead doesn't translate into him winning every district, unless the polls are very, very wrong.

It won't be a 16 point lead by next Saturday. It'll be single digit.

Also last time Newt won by 12 points and Mitt still won the 1st district. I can easily see Cruz getting the 3rd, 4th, and 5th even with a TRUMP victory. It's even within the realm of possibility for Cruz to win a majority of the CDs if TRUMP has a narrow victory.

It's even possible that Trump wins every county, while Bush wins CD1:

It is not a foregone conclusion that Trump will win. I'm quite nervous. He will drop a district in all likelihood.

We haven't had a poll since Iowa.  I think there's a decent chance Cruz's campaign organization can pull him out here.

If I had to bet on SC, I'd bet on Cruz.

Trump will win here, but Cruz might win certain districts and Bush has a chance to win SC-1 (my district) that is full of establishment and military republicans.
